Deshedding treatment for dogs
Double Coats & Heavy Shedders

Deshedding Treatment

Designed for breeds that carry a dense undercoat — Huskies, German Shepherds, Corgis, Australian Shepherds, Labs, and similar. A proper deshedding treatment removes loose undercoat systematically without damaging the protective topcoat.

  • Deshedding shampoo and deep conditioning treatment
  • High-velocity blow dry to loosen and remove loose coat
  • Thorough undercoat removal with appropriate tools
  • Brush-out and finishing
  • Can significantly reduce shedding for several weeks
Starting From
$55
Varies by size & coat density

Note: We do not shave double-coated breeds. Shaving can permanently alter the coat's texture and natural insulating properties.

Feline Grooming

Cat Full Groom

Cat grooming requires a completely different approach than dog grooming — different handling, different pacing, and a thorough understanding of feline stress signals. Carla, our dedicated cat groomer, handles all feline appointments.

  • Gentle bath with cat-safe shampoo
  • Careful blow dry at low heat
  • Brush-out and mat management
  • Nail trimming
  • Ear cleaning
  • Light sanitary trim if needed
Starting From
$70
Varies by coat & temperament

We schedule cat appointments separately from dog appointments where possible to minimize stress.

Matting Issues

Cat Mat Removal & Brush-Out

Long-haired cats are particularly prone to matting. Left untreated, mats can pull on the skin and cause real discomfort. Our mat removal process is careful and low-stress — we work at a pace the cat can handle.

  • Assessment of mat severity before starting
  • Careful dematting or humane shave-out if necessary
  • Full brush-out once mats are cleared
  • Conditioning treatment to improve coat texture
  • Advice on preventing future matting

$55

We are not a veterinary facility and cannot diagnose skin conditions. If your pet has an ongoing skin issue, we recommend consulting your vet before or alongside grooming.

Senior Pets

Senior & Mobility-Limited Pets

Older dogs and cats need a bit more care and consideration during grooming. We use table support where needed, take frequent breaks, shorten sessions if the pet needs it, and watch carefully for signs of stress or discomfort.

  • Shorter sessions with rest breaks as needed
  • Gentle handling adjusted to mobility needs
  • Support for pets who struggle to stand for extended periods
  • Communication with owners about anything we notice

Questions

Service FAQs

Pricing depends on your pet's size, breed, coat type and condition, and which service you're booking. The prices listed are starting points — your actual quote will be provided when you call or book, once we know a bit more about your pet.
We groom a wide range of breeds. The main factors that affect whether we can help are coat condition and temperament — very severely matted coats or dogs with a history of aggressive behavior may require us to have a conversation before booking.
We prefer same-day pickup within a reasonable window after the groom is complete. Extended holding isn't something we offer — our focus is grooming, and keeping pets here longer than needed isn't ideal for their comfort.
No problem — it happens often. For adult dogs who haven't been groomed before, we take a similar approach to our puppy intro session: patience, breaks, and positive reinforcement. It might take a session or two before your dog is fully comfortable, and that's completely normal.
